The search and rescue service in Myanmar is provided by the Department of Civil Aviation of Myanmar, in collaboration
with the Ministry of Defense, Meteorological Service and Maritime and Port Authority of Myanmar,
which have the responsibility for making the necessary facilities available.
The search and rescue service is responsible for SAR operations within Yangon FIR.
