Responsibilities

The Aerodrome Design and Construction Division led by the director consisting of administration and budget sub-division, Design and Estimation sub-division has been implementing works on building new airports, constructing passenger terminal building and upgrading and extending airports.

• Designing and submitting drawing concerning with building new airports co-operation respective organization and firms;
  
  
• Designing and Construction airports by the Aerodrome Design and Construction Division itself;
  
  
• Designing airports by Aerodrome Design and Construction Division itself and construction with firms and contractors;
  
  
• Implementing airports by the ADC division itself designed and conferred by respective exports;
  
  
• Close supervising airport implementation works which are designed by experts, and making contract with firms to finish under the guidance of the Director General to meet International Civil Aviation Organization requirements;
  
  
• Inspecting and examining the cost and estimation on airport implementation works carried out by contractors in line with rules and regulations in Civil Aviation Practice of the DCA;
  
  
• Inspecting the cost and estimation on civil works proposed by other divisions in Department of Civil Aviation for the Director General’s approval;
  
  
• Budgeting for building, upgrading and maintaining airports and its environs;
  
  
• Making contract with the Public Work for the implementation of airports to contract the quality and meet the standards.
