Burma Aircraft Act is in existence since 1934. Following the enactment of the Burma Aircraft Act, the Burma Aircraft Rules 1937 is promulgated in Burma. These Act and Rules are substituted by the Union of Burma (Adaptation of Laws) Order 1948. After the independence these Act and Rules extends to whole of the Union of Myanmar and applies to citizen and person on aircraft registered in the Union, wherever they may be.
